The Parsons Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Independence Bulldogs to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Girard for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Parsons will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 11-1.
