Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 15. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).

With the loss, Johnson County Central drops to 5-6 on the campaign.
