The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) and the host Langford Lions (Langford, SD), saw North Central's volleyball squad nip Langford by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 1-8 on the year. The Thunder host Sully Buttes (Onida, SD) to play the Chargers in a B Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Sully Buttes won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lyman (Presho, SD)

The Lions now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ipswich for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. Langford will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
