September 13, 2023: Tuxedo, NY 10987 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the host Tuxedo Tornadoes (Tuxedo, NY), saw Beacon's volleyball squad beat Tuxedo by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Beacon upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY) to play the Presidents in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Presidents go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Roosevelt won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY)
The Tornadoes now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Fallsburg for a Section 9 Orange County IV bout on Thursday, September 14. Tuxedo will play a Comets squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Sullivan West (Lake Huntington, NY). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
