Iowa High School Football - Kuemper prevails AHSTW
September 13, 2024: Avoca, IA In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Kuemper Knights football squad scored a good 41-33 triumph over the AHSTW Vikings.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen come into the 2A District 8 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Roland-Story defeated South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 56-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) in a 1A District 8 match, on Friday, September 20. AHSTW will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 40-14 non-league win over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA).
