In Friday's non-league match, the host Anderson County Bulldogs football squad scored a close 33-30 victory over the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Lexington (Lexington, MO). The Minutemen enter the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Lexington was nudged by South Callaway (Mokane, MO), 28-13, in a non-league match.
