The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Arthur County Wolves (Arthur, NE) and the host Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE), witnessed Arthur County's football squad knock off Southwest by a tally of 40-28.

The Wolves (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux County (Harrison, NE). The Warriors enter the D6 District 6 (6 Man) contest with a 2-0 record.

Coming up next, the Roughriders battle the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) contest, on Friday, September 27. Southwest will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 41-14 non-league win over South Platte (Big Springs, NE).
