September 13, 2024: Sumner, WA 98390 Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Auburn Riverside Ravens (Auburn, WA), 47-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sumner advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to West Linn (West Linn, OR) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 2-0. West Linn won 35-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR)
The Ravens now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kentwood for a 4A North Puget Sound battle on Thursday, September 19. Auburn Riverside will play a Conquerors team coming off a 40-20 non-league loss to Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA). The Conquerors record now stands at 0-2.
