The Fountain Central Mustangs edged the visiting Covington Trojans football team by a score of 20-18 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a Wabash River challenge, on Friday, September 20. Fountain Central will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Red Ramblers enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 39-0 league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN).

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Wildcats enter the Wabash River challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, South Vermillion held off North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN), 48-6, in a league challenge.
