The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the host Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), witnessed Salado's football squad wallop Giddings by a tally of 55-14.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Little River Academy was trounced by Burnet (Burnet, TX), 49-35, in a non-league contest.
