Game Story

Georgia High School Football - Groves sneaks past Islands

September 13, 2024: Savannah, GA 31410

The Groves Rebels football squad scored 25 points and limited the host Islands Sharks to 22 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson for a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, September 20. Groves will meet a Atomsmashers squad coming off a 35-13 league loss to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Atomsmashers record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Islands drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, September 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Liberty County lost 22-14 in their recent league test against Long County (Ludowici, GA)
