Alabama High School Football - White Plains thwarted by Hokes Bluff
September 13, 2024: Hokes Bluff, AL 35903 Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL), 31-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Hokes Bluff improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Anniston (Anniston, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 20. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Anniston won 40-16 in their recent league battle against Alexandria (Alexandria, AL)
The Wildcats now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Cherokee County for a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 20. White Plains will play a Warriors team coming off a 42-0 league win over Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
