Ohio High School Football - Purcell Marian sneaks past KIPP Columbus
September 13, 2024: Columbus, OH 43224 The Purcell Marian Cavaliers football squad scored 16 points and limited the host KIPP Columbus Jaguars to 14 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taft for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Purcell Marian will meet a Senators squad coming off a 20-16 non-league loss to Mt. Healthy (Cincinnati, OH). The Senators record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, KIPP Columbus drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Northland (Columbus, OH) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-2. Northland won 20-12 in their recent league test against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH)
