The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) and the visiting Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), witnessed New Bern's football squad wallop Knightdale by a tally of 37-0.

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the 3A/4A Big Carolina contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Havelock crushed West Craven (Vanceboro, NC), 54-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Knightdale will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
