September 13, 2024: Huntsville, AL 35810 The Mae Jemison Jaguars were victorious over the visiting Lee Generals football team by a score of 34-8 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) in a 6A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Mae Jemison will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 14-13 league win over Southside (Gadsden, AL).
The Generals (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Bucks enter the 6A Region 8 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Buckhorn ran past Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL), 29-7, in a league challenge.
