September 13, 2024: New Hampton, IA 50659 MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), 62-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, MFL MarMac advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a 1A District 3 battle on Friday, September 20. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Aplington-Parkersburg lost 56-7 in their recent non-league battle against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)
The Chickasaws now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Osage for a 2A District 3 battle on Friday, September 20. New Hampton will play a Green Devils team coming off a 35-6 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 1-2.
