West Virginia High School Football - Petersburg tops Pendleton County
September 13, 2024: Petersburg, WV 26847 The Petersburg Vikings football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Pendleton County Wildcat to 20 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Tyler for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Petersburg will meet a Knights squad coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Pendleton County drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcat travel to Richwood (Richwood, WV) to meet the Lumberjacks in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-2. Richwood lost 56-0 in their recent non-league test against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)
