California High School Football - Mendez thwarted by Poly
September 13, 2024: Sun Valley, CA 91352 Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA), 36-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Poly improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Parrots host Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to play the Eagles in a battle on Friday, September 20. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Chavez lost 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA)
The Jaguars now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Mendez will play a Barristers team coming off a 28-8 non-league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Barristers record now stands at 5-0.
