Illinois High School Soccer - Normal University knocks off Cornerstone Christian
September 13, 2024: Bloomington, IL 61705 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) and the host Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), saw Normal University's soccer squad knock off Cornerstone Christian by a score of 3-0.
The Pioneers (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Centennial tipped Peoria (Peoria, IL), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cyclones confront the Roanoke-Benson/Eureka Rockets (Eureka, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
