Virginia High School Volleyball - Menchville edged by Cox

The Menchville Monarchs volleyball squad (Newport News, VA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA)

With the win, Cox improves its record to 4-8 on the season. The Falcons host Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Beach game on Tuesday, September 30. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 7-6.

The Monarchs (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors go into the Peninsula game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Kecoughtan was edged by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
