The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial (Colchester, CT) and the visiting Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), witnessed Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial's football squad edge Oxford by a tally of 16-13.

The (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Amistad (New Haven, CT). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Amistad was tipped by O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT), 24-14, in a non-league bout.
