Colorado High School Football - Vail Christian tops Lyons

The Vail Christian Saints football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Lyons Lions to 20 in the Saints non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Saints now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Plateau Valley for a A-8 Northwest (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 19. Vail Christian will face a Cowboys team coming off a 40-36 non-league win over Norwood (Norwood, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-0.

The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Merino (Merino, CO). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Merino lost by Mancos (Mancos, CO), 50-8, in a non-league challenge.
