Illinois High School Football - Plainfield South tops Joliet West
September 13, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 The Plainfield South Cougars football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Joliet West Tigers to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Plainfield South will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Minooka knocked off Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 28-25, in a non-league test.
