September 13, 2025: Romeoville, IL 60446 Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team topple the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 24-8 in a non-league match.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Plainfield North thwarted Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 48-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 18. Plainfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
