September 13, 2025: La Palma, CA 90623 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) and the visiting Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA), observed Kennedy's volleyball team top Sonora by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Kennedy improves its record to 1-0 on the season.
The Raiders now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunny Hills for a battle on Tuesday, September 16. Sonora will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.
