California High School Flag Football - Schurr tops El Rancho
September 13, 2025: Pico Rivera, CA 90660 The Schurr Spartans flag football squad scored 32 points and limited the host El Rancho Dons to 6 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host San Gabriel for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Schurr will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 3-11.
With the defeat, El Rancho drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Dons travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to meet the Lancers in a challenge on Monday, September 15. The Lancers go into the challenge with a record of 6-9. La Serna lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)
