The Milpitas Trojans got by the visiting Merced Bears flag football team by a score of 20-18 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Milpitas will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The 76ers come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 50-0 non-league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
