Colorado High School Football - Horizon thwarted by Castle View
September 13, 2025: Thornton, CO 80602 Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), 49-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Castle View improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sabercats host Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO) to play the Huskies in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 2-0.
The Hawks now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Arvada West for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Horizon will play a Wildcats team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Legend (Parker, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
