September 13, 2025: Shippensburg, PA 17257 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA) and the host Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), witnessed Palmyra's football squad topple Shippensburg by a count of 41-14.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Waynesboro was outscored by Red Land (Lewisberry, PA), 9-7, in a non-league battle.
The Greyhounds now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mifflin County for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22.
