Georgia High School Volleyball - Lambert can't hold off Cartersville
September 13, 2025: Suwanee, GA 30024 In Saturday's non-league match, the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) volleyball team held off the host Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Hurricanes now possess a 25-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Cartersville will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Lambert drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Warriors in a match on Thursday, September 18. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-1.
