September 13, 2025: Mayfield, OH 44143 Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Chardon beat North (Eastlake, OH), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Kirtland will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
