Missouri High School Soccer - Battle nudges Affton
September 13, 2025: Columbia, MO 65202 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Battle Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 win over the Affton Cougars.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Boonville (Boonville, MO). The Pirates enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Boonville was edged by Mexico (Mexico, MO), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Ritenour Huskies (Overland, MO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Affton will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO).
