In Saturday's non-league contest, the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) soccer team routed the host Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), by a count of 7-3.

Next, the Patriots battle the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a Quad City Seven 8A contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Apex Friendship will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).
