September 13, 2025: Grand Haven, MI 49417 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI) and the visiting East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI), saw Grand Haven's soccer squad hold off East Grand Rapids by a count of 3-2.
The Buccaneers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI). The Sailors enter the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Mona Shores was edged by Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Zeeland East Chix (Zeeland, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 18. East Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Chix enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to West Ottawa (Holland, MI).
