Kansas High School Soccer - Great Bend knocks off Salina Central
September 13, 2025: Great Bend, KS 67530 Great Bend Panthers (Great Bend, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Great Bend advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hays (Hays, KS) to clash with the Indians in a Western Athletic test on Tuesday, September 16. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-1. Hays won 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against Junction City (Junction City, KS)
Next up, the Mustangs play the South Cougars (Salina, KS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Salina Central will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to West (Topeka, KS).
