Maryland High School Soccer - Leonardtown knocks off South River
September 13, 2025: Edgewater, MD 21037 The Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) soccer overwhelmed the host South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Leonardtown will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.
The Seahawks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Annapolis (Annapolis, MD). The Panthers enter the Anne Arundel County contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Annapolis beat North County (Glen Burnie, MD), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
