New Jersey High School Soccer - Montclair knocks off Roxbury
September 13, 2025: Succasunna, NJ 07876 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Montclair Mounties soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Roxbury Gaels.
The Mounties (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, West Orange got by Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next, the Gaels clash with the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - American bout, on Monday, September 15. Roxbury will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ).
