Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Moon Area nudges South Park
September 13, 2025: Moon Township, PA 15108 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) and the visiting South Park Eagles (South Park, PA), saw Moon Area's soccer squad hold off South Park by a score of 2-1.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Chartiers Valley was edged by West Allegheny (Imperial, PA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles meet the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) in a WPIAL AA 3 test, on Tuesday, September 16. South Park will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Ironmen come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 7-0 league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA).
