Oklahoma High School Softball - Pawnee bounces Caney Valley
September 13, 2025: Ramona, OK 74061 The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK) and the host Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), observed Pawnee's softball team prevail over Caney Valley by a tally of 12-4.
The Black Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mounds (Mounds, OK). The Golden Eagles enter the 2A contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Mounds was routed by Kellyville (Kellyville, OK), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
The Trojans now hold a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Barnsdall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Caney Valley will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
