The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders triumphed over the host McCook Bison softball team by a final score of 12-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Crusaders now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beatrice for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Grand Island Central Catholic will confront a Orangemen team coming off a 8-0 league win over Seward (Seward, NE). The Orangemen record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, McCook moves to 4-12 on the season. The Bison travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to meet the Bluehawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13.
