In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Raymond Central Mustangs softball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Southern Valley/Alma .

The Mustangs (8-9) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul (St. Paul, NE). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, St. Paul was routed by Centennial (Utica, NE), 15-5, in a non-league match.
