September 13, 2025: Olive Branch, MS 38654 Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Alcorn Central improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Bears host Ripley (Ripley, MS) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Ripley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS)
Next, the Conquistadors meet the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a Class 6A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Olive Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
