In Saturday's non-league match, the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Eagles (O'Fallon, MO), by a final score of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Redbirds clash with the Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 13. Alton will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record.
