In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Anamosa Raiders volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Hempstead Mustangs.

With the win, Anamosa advances its record to 9-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Camanche (Camanche, IA) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Indians go into the test with a record of 2-7.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterloo West for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16.
