September 13, 2025: Portland, OR 97201 St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Mary's Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blues travel to Sunset (Portland, OR) to face the Apollos in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Apollos go into the test with a record of 2-2. Sunset lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Southridge (Beaverton, OR)
The Beavers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountainside for a 6A Metro test on Tuesday, September 16. Beaverton will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-3.
