Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats (Evansville, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Evansville Mater Dei upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Loogootee (Loogootee, IN) to meet the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Loogootee lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)

Next, the Cardinals meet the White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana challenge, on Tuesday, September 16.
