Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights (Brookfield, WI) and the host Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), observed Brookfield Academy's volleyball team achieve victory over Martin Luther by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Brookfield Academy improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Blue Knights host Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI) to face the Lightning in a Midwest Classic test on Tuesday, September 16. The Lightning go into the test with a record of 12-6. Lake Country Lutheran won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Belleville (Belleville, WI)

The Spartans now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Racine Lutheran for a Metro Classic challenge on Tuesday, September 16.
