In Saturday's non-league match, the Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR), by a margin of 2-1.

The Eagles now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a 3A 5 bout on Monday, September 15. Mayflower will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.
