Indiana High School Volleyball - Normal University can't hold off Castle

September 13, 2025: Newburgh, IN 47630

In Saturday's non-league match, the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) volleyball squad held off the visiting Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Knights now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Castle will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Normal University drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13.
