In Saturday's non-league match, the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) volleyball squad overcame the host Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 13. Central will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MO).
